Bryan is a long-time resident of Charlotte where he lives with his wife Amy, and two children Riley and Grady. Prior to his career in Real Estate, Bryan was a Collegiate Soccer Player before playing Professionally.
While in college, Bryan caught the bug for real estate and started to acquire rental properties using his income from waiting tables. Without knowing the term, he was an early house hacker. After years of acquiring and managing his rental portfolio, Bryan began to develop new build projects in Charlotte.
Having built over 100 houses, Bryan has a deep understanding of the rules and regulations associated with building residential real estate in the Charlotte Metro. Bryan has been developing beautiful new home projects for over a decade, and his work can be seen throughout Myers Park, Dilworth, NODA, Plaza Midwood, and South Park.
Charlotte ADU Builders originated with Bryan's vision for high-quality, ADU projects in Charlotte. As a licensed commercial and residential General Contractor, Bryan brings a level of passion and commitment to his craft that is rarely seen in any industry, and he is a tremendous leader for this firm.
Sean McKay
Partner
Sean has been a resident of Charlotte since 2010 and has enjoyed so many aspects of living in this incredible area with his wife, Heather, and kids, Blake and Bianca. Real estate has been a large part of his life for many years. Sean purchased his first investment property in 2002 and has enjoyed building his real estate portfolio over the last 20+ years. Over the past decade, Sean has been involved in the local real estate market serving on the Board of Directors for Metrolina REIA, a local non-profit real estate investment community, as well as the Co-Chair for the Charlotte Landlord Association.
Prior to starting Charlotte ADU Builders with Bryan, Sean worked in the Financial Services industry serving as the President of a Self-Directed IRA firm. The client base consisted of real estate entrepreneurs that were utilizing the firm's services to invest in real estate using their retirement accounts. While Sean was grateful for the opportunity that he was given to expand his role at the firm, he realized that his true calling was real estate.
Charlotte ADU is a passion project to bring a much-needed resource to the Queen City. Sean and Bryan strongly believe that the future is very bright for this region, and with continued growth, quality construction resources will be at a premium. The mission of the firm is very simple- Beautiful Construction, Uncompromising Integrity.

We can move forward with your architectural plans that have already been created
We can assist you with creating a floor plan design with an architect of your choosing, or you can work with our architects to create a plan that fits your needs.

Permitting
One of the most frequently asked questions we receive is- Does Charlotte ADU Builders handle permitting to build my ADU? The answer is- YES! We handle the entire process of submitting the plans to get your ADU permitted!
Building Your ADU!
Now that the permitting is complete, we can show you how efficiently we can build your ADU! Our clients will tell you we spend a tremendous amount of time with you, during preconstruction to make the building process as quick as possible. We explore every angle possible before we break ground to think through the variables associated with your lot as well as the engineering of the plan.
